Nella Galassia delle Imprese Immaginarie le Leggi Alpine era severissime.
Pensate che, rispettando rigorosissimi calendari di turnazione quinquennale, era permesso scalare “soltanto” l’ineffabile e “unica” Cima… Momentanea esistente.
Una tanto ambita Meta d'”Alta Quota”, forse proprio perché… “unica”.
Quanto, in realtà, trasparente e, di fatto,,, inesistente.
Ciò nonostante, nell’Immaginario Collettivo, il Fantasma Bianco della Vetta sembrava tuttavia, periodicamente, “riprendere forma”, diventando di nuovo ambito al reame grazie a certi misteriosi giochi di prestigio fatti di vortici di polvere di pietra. Turbini da illusionista, in verità, che il Grande Mago e Ciambellano di Corte del Regno del Sovrano dell’Arte dell’Effimero, amava definire, nell’arcana lingua dell’Oltr…Alpe: Il Quarto d’Ora di Celebrità.
In questa breve “finestra” di illusoria notorietà, un altrettanto illuso, quanto borioso Altorilievo della Casata della Cimetta or ora conquistata, gongolante e altezzoso, forte del successo della sua ultima “ascesa” al… Nulla, si “specchiava”, tutto borioso, nella sua “copia” sottostante, in bassorilievo. E, tracimando nella e della sua ignoranza credulatra, tentò nuovamente di deriderla richiedendole, ancora una volta:
“Chi, tra noi, ha ora più spessore?”
“Chi è ora il più alto di tutti?”

E l’altra, affatto umile, perché sapeva il fatto suo, gli rispose per l’ennesima volta così:
“Sembro senza ‘spessore’, ma, forse, non sono magari io, e sempre, la più.. ‘profonda’?”
“Provare per credere…!”

Il trionfio e, ormai, collerico e isterico Altorilievo della Casata della Cimetta or ora conquistata non se lo lasciò ripetere una seconda volta e, dall’Alto della sua altrettanto Alta Ignoranza e Cecità, si tuffò subito “nella” sua copia, annullandosi… in un istante.

Un piccolo gruppo rado di rarissimi “Bradipi” Filosofi del Mon Bianchetto, testimone della scena, pensò, tra sé: “In fondo, questo episodio ci conferma che, a ben vedere, siamo tutti – nessuno escluso – un “sistema di differenze”.

Significhiamo, magari, una cima o, forse, una valle – e, comunque, significhiamo verosimilmente… “qualcosa” – solo se siamo “contrapposti” a tutto, a tutti o anche, talvolta, solo a qualcuno, qualcosa, che, di norma, non siamo noi.
Senza questo contrapporsi, senza questa “dialettica” (sia essa interna o esterna a noi), di fatto, non siamo nulla: neanche un… “Nessuno”!

E, per ricordare l’evento, fu realizzato un calendario perenne che voleva essere, almeno nell’ambizione degli intenti, anch’esso un piccolo… avvenimento!

In the Galaxy of Imaginary Enterprises, the Alpine Laws were extremely strict. Imagine that, by strictly adhering to five-year rotation schedules, it was allowed to climb only the ineffable and “unique” Peak… momentarily existing.
Such a coveted High Altitude Destination, perhaps precisely because it was… “unique”.
In reality, however, transparent and, in fact, non-existent.
Nevertheless, in the Collective Imagination, the White Ghost of the Summit seemed to periodically “take shape” again, becoming coveted in the realm once more thanks to certain mysterious feats involving whirlwinds of stone dust. Illusionist whirlwinds, indeed, which the Great Magician and Court Chamberlain of the Sovereign Realm of the Ephemeral Arts liked to define, in the arcane language of the Beyond…Alps: The Quarter of Celebrity.
In this brief “window” of illusory fame, an equally deluded and haughty Relief of the House of Cimetta, now conquered, gloated and arrogant, proud of the success of his last “ascent” to… Nothingness, admired himself, all pompous, in his underlying “copy,” in bas-relief. And, overflowing with his credulous ignorance, he once again attempted to mock it, asking once more:
“Who, among us, now has more depth?”
“Who is now the tallest of all?”

And the other, not at all humble because she knew her worth, replied once again like this:
“I may seem without ‘depth,’ but perhaps, am I not, always, the deepest?”

The triumphant and now enraged and hysterical Relief of the House of Cimetta, now conquered, did not let him repeat it a second time, and from the Heights of his equally High Ignorance and Blindness, he immediately plunged into his “copy,” annihilating himself… in an instant.

We may signify a peak or perhaps a valley – and in any case, we likely signify… ‘something’ – only when we are opposed to everything, everyone, or even sometimes, only to something, someone who, under normal circumstances, is not us.
Without this opposition, without this ‘dialectic’ (whether it be internal or external to us), in fact, we are nothing: not even a… ‘Nobody’!
